Unitree H1 Quick Start Guide

The official Unitree quick-start material for the Unitree H1 is linked below — follow it in order. Humanoid first-boots have a real sequence (charge, clear space, power, pair, stand), and skipping steps is the most common cause of an embarrassing first fall.

Our plain-language notes underneath distill the official procedure plus the things owners learn the hard way. Read both before you unbox.

What this document covers

  • ✓Unboxing checklist: what's in the case and what to inspect
  • ✓Full first charge — partial charges cause most failed first startups
  • ✓Power-on sequence and remote-control / app pairing
  • ✓The guided first stand: posture checks before locomotion
  • ✓Clear-space and safety-perimeter setup for early operation
  • ✓First-week checklist: fastener checks, firmware, and baseline behavior

Official quick start guide

What we know about the Unitree H1

The H1 is a full-size, 47 kg machine — unbox and assemble it with two people and keep the area clear. The official SDK guide walks through the power-on sequence, remote control pairing, and high-level motion services; follow the joint-calibration steps before any dynamic movement.

If you're buying used, ask the seller for the service history and verify the firmware version against the docs hub. Cosmetic scuffs on the shins are normal for lab units; joint torque faults are not — run the diagnostics in the developer docs before you pay.
