Unitree manuals & documentation
The best-documented humanoid maker in the world
Unitree Robotics, founded in Hangzhou in 2016 by Wang Xingxing, started with quadruped robots — the Laikago, Go1, Go2, and the industrial B2 — before moving into full-size humanoids with the H1 in 2023 and the compact G1 after it. That quadruped lineage matters: years of shipping legged robots gave Unitree a mature actuator supply chain and, unusually for the industry, a real documentation culture.
Unitree is the only humanoid maker with a genuine public docs portal. support.unitree.com hosts developer documentation, SDK guides, quick-start procedures, and FAQs for the G1, H1, and Go2 — the links on this site point straight at those official pages. If you're choosing your first humanoid for research or education, documentation depth is a practical reason the G1 leads its class.
Models covered here: the G1 (1.27 m, ≈35 kg, 23 degrees of freedom), the full-size H1 (1.80 m, ≈47 kg), and the Go2 quadruped — Unitree's most widely owned legged robot.
