Unitree G1 Quick Start Guide
The official Unitree quick-start material for the Unitree G1 is linked below — follow it in order. Humanoid first-boots have a real sequence (charge, clear space, power, pair, stand), and skipping steps is the most common cause of an embarrassing first fall.
Our plain-language notes underneath distill the official procedure plus the things owners learn the hard way. Read both before you unbox.
What this document covers

- ✓Full first charge — partial charges cause most failed first startups
- ✓Power-on sequence and remote-control / app pairing

What we know about the Unitree G1
Unbox on a clear, flat surface with at least 2 meters of clearance — the G1 ships in a flight case with the charger, a spare battery, and developer docs. Charge both batteries fully before first boot; a partial charge is the most common cause of a failed first startup.
Work through the official quick-start in order: power-on sequence, remote-control pairing, then the guided first-stand. Don't skip the waist-fastener check described in the docs — it's a small step that prevents an embarrassing first fall. When you're comfortable, the SDK section covers voice assistant setup and sport-mode gaits.
