The EV maker betting on humanoids
XPeng is best known as an electric-vehicle maker, but its ambitions run through 'Physical AI' — and the Iron humanoid is the center of that bet. Iron is still pre-production, with the company targeting a commercial launch in 2027.
There's no Iron manual to download yet. One encouraging sign: XPeng already publishes owner's manuals for its cars on xpeng.com, which suggests robot documentation will follow the same pattern once Iron ships.
