Austin-built humanoids for enterprise pilots

Apptronik spun out of the University of Texas at Austin's Human Centered Robotics Lab in 2016 and spent years building custom robots — including NASA's Valkyrie work — before launching Apollo, its ≈1.73 m humanoid with a ≈25 kg payload, aimed at logistics and manufacturing.

Apollo is deployed through enterprise pilots, including work with Mercedes-Benz, rather than sold retail — so Apptronik publishes no public manual. One caution from our research: an 'Apollo User Manual' PDF floating around the web is for an unrelated GPS beacon, not this robot.

This page tracks the Apollo. Request the manual and we'll publish official docs here if Apptronik ever releases them.
